We are preparing a Polish (thanks to Izabela Dłużyk), a German (thanks to Imre Kosa), and a Portuguese (thanks to Aves Exóticas) version of the documentary as well.

Bird-blessed Canberra's best and brightest parrots are spectacular in the extreme. And yet even they pale a little by comparison with ANU biologist Dr George Olah's special subject, the Scarlet Macaw (Ara macao). Tuesday sees the world premiere screening, at the ANU, of his documentary film The Macaw Project about the hefty (weighing up to 1.3 kilograms and growing up to 90cms in length) and brilliantly coloured species. It is, no wonder, the national bird of Honduras, rather as the not-so-showy but quietly magnificent Gang-gang cockatoo is the faunal emblem of the ACT. Read more information about our film debut on the Peru for Less Blog (on the left) written by Britt Fracolli. Peru for Less was one of the VIP sponsor of our documentary, we really appreciate their contribution!
On this page we will give you updates about the documentary, like upcoming screenings in different countries. If you think there is an interest of broadcasting our documentary in your country or community, please contact us via the form at the bottom of this page. We will also keep you posted about the continuation of this film.
